Carlton's George Hewett and Brisbane's Lachie Neale have both avoided suspensions after trading blows during Friday's Opening Round clash.
Both players have been charged with striking by the AFL's Match Review Officer for the altercation during the third quarter.
Hewett's high strike on Neale has been graded as careless conduct, high contact and low impact, resulting in a $3,750 fine.
An intentional grading would've seen Hewett handed a one-game suspension.
"These moments will be looked at" 🤔
