Brisbane's Keidean Coleman is set for a 5-6 week stint on the sidelines as Brisbane's injury list mounts.

Coleman injured his hamstring in the Lions' loss to Fremantle on Sunday after he was withdrawn from the match in the second quarter.

It continues a wretched run for Coleman, who has also suffered quad and ACL injuries in recent years.

He had, however, established continuity this year, playing every game and averaging 17 disposals in defence.

Defender Tom Doedee (calf) and youngster Will McLachlan (quad) were also injured in the VFL.

Doedee has played just one match since arriving at Brisbane ahead of the 2024 season, with a calf injury his setback, while McLachlan played his first game of the season in Round 11 before injuring his quad in his VFL return on the weekend.

The trio will spend at least five weeks on the sidelines.

Dayne Zorko, Ryan Lester, Lincoln McCarthy, Eric Hipwood and Oscar Allen are other important players who were out of action on the weekend due to injury.

McCarthy (hamstring) and Hipwood (knee) will be tests to return next week.
