Adelaide has been forced into changing their squad for Saturday's matchup with the Giants.
The club has confirmed Sam Berry has been withdrawn from the squad due to illness.
Fellow youngster Harry Schoenberg has come into Matthew Nicks's 26-man squad, which will be finalised an hour prior to the bounce for the match at Adelaide Oval.
Schoenberg was omitted at selection this week alongside Jake Soligo and Ned McHenry and has been named as an emergency alongside those two and Elliott Himmelberg.
The 22-year-old has managed just five games in 2023 and will now have to wait to see if he can become the substitute for their vital clash with the Giants.
