We take a look at five of the best swingman over the last 20 years.

The definition of a swingman is a player who can shift between attack and defence during a contest or on a game-to-game basis, not just a utility that has played multiple positions throughout their career.

There were dozens to choose from, but here are our top five.

4. Adam Hunter

Former Eagles swingman Adam Hunter was one of the most renown at his craft over the last 20 years.

Hunter was predominantly used as a defender, but knew what he was doing when he ventured into the forward 50. Although he was a focal point in West Coast's premiership winning defence in 2006, Hunter also managed a very respectable campaign as a forward.

He scored 29 goals that season, including 11 in the finals series. Hunter booted four goals in that year's preliminary final and kicked an iconic match-winning goal in the Grand Final against Sydney - the major that culminated from Daniel Chick's smother.
