James Cousins has extended his time with the club, signing a two-year extension whilst Dylan Moore and Changkuoth Jiath have both re-committed to the club with one-year deals.

This news comes after the exciting announcement of extending Brownlow Medalist Tom Mitchell’s contract to the end of 2023 earlier in the week.

Graham Wright, General Manager of Football at Hawthorn, is thrilled about the list coming together.

“We’ve got a wave of exciting young players coming through our system – James, Dylan and Changkuoth included,” Wright told the club’s website.

“They’ve each travelled different paths in 2019, but all have demonstrated vast improvement across the course of the season.

“We’re pleased to have secured their services beyond this year, and we’re looking forward to witnessing their continued development over the next 12 months.”
