Port Adelaide secure midfielder

Will Brodie is on his way to Port Adelaide after he was traded from Fremantle for Pick 103.

Brodie is set to reunite with former coach Josh Carr, who will be taking over the senior duties at the Power.

Brodie was originally drafted by the Suns with Pick 9 in 2016, and has played 54 senior games across nine seasons.

However, he hasn't been sighted since 2023, and will be in search for more opportunity.

Eagles get their man

West Coast has reportedly traded for Richmond's Tylar Young, handing over Pick 38.

Young has requested a trade to the Eagles at the cessation of his contract with Richmond following 35 games in three years during his time at Punt Road.

He will reunite with former Tigers players Liam Baker and Jack Graham, as well as Andrew McQualter.

The Western Australian club obtained Pick 38 from Hawthorn in last year's dealings.

The Eagles will hold Picks 1, 2, 13, 34, 41, 53, and 58.

The Tigers will add to their pair of top-four selections, and will have Pick 3, 4, and 38.

Bulldogs, Giants commit to pick swap

The Western Bulldogs and GWS have reportedly agreed to a pick swap deal that will see two first-round selections change hands.

The deal will involve the Dogs sending their opening pick for next month's count - Pick 12 - to the Giants in exchange for two of GWS's selections - Picks 14 and 37, per AFL Media's Cal Twomey.

The trade is expected to advance the Bulldogs' position in talks with Gold Coast over a move for wantaway Suns utility Connor Budarick.

The Dogs and Suns are also in talks over a trade that would see Jamarra Ugle-Hagan head north to Carrara, with that exchange likely to be separate from the Budarick one.

The Western Bulldogs will hold Picks 14, 33 and 37 following their trade with GWS, who will have selections 12 and 35 for the 2025 AFL Draft.
