West Coast Eagles defender Sandy Brock has penned a two-year contract extension, tying him to the club until the end of 2027.
The Supplemental Selection Period pickup debuted in Round 4 and has shown potential as an athletic backman, trusted to stop some important opposition spearheads.
The 198cm talent has since played nine games.
It follows three seasons on the Suns list where he was unable to break through for an AFL debut.
โSigning a two-year deal is extremely exciting,โ Brock said in a statement released via the West Coast Eagles.
โI can't wait to have another two years to play with the guys here.โ
The Peel Thunder product's extension follows re-signings of fellow first-year Eagles Lucca Grego, Tom Gross and Hamish Davis, alongside Mid-Season Draftee selection Jack Hutchinson and rising star nominee Tyrell Dewar.
โThe transition over the last six months has been huge for me,โ Brock added.
West Coast Eagles head of list management and recruiting, Matt Clarke, praised the defender's mindset and output since arriving.
โSandy has grabbed the opportunity through the SSP with both hands, and we are excited to have him sign an extension,โ Clarke said.
โHis work ethic, team-first approach and rate of improvement over the pre-season was a standout.
"His athletic ability and versatility behind the ball for us has been extremely valuable and we look forward to his continued improvement.โ
Brock will turn out for the Eagles this weekend against a GWS side he made his debut against.
