New faces: Liam Ryan kicked 73 goals in the WAFL in 2017 and is a good chance to slot straight into the Eagles’ forward line, with former Power midfielder Brendon Ah Chee also likely to feature in the best 22. Nic Naitanui’s return will be a huge boost.

On the fringe: Youngsters Daniel Venables, Tom Cole, Jack Petruccelle, Brayden Ainsworth and Jarrod Brander are likely to get senior action in 2018, as will veterans Chris Masten and Will Schoefield.
