AFL umpire 'Razor' Ray Chamberlain has reminded Richmond midfielder Shaun Grigg of the correct way to treat others in the final stages of the Tigers' loss to Port Adelaide on Friday night at the Adelaide Oval.

In an unusual incident, Grigg seemed to have been mouthing off at some Power players, before Chamberlain intervened to calm Grigg down while someone left the field under the blood rule.

Chamberlain walked over to Grigg, and told the premiership player, "you need to calm down...we don't talk to one another like that."

Despite seconds away from losing just their third game of the season, Grigg saw the lighter side of Chamberlain's comments, and just smiled at the umpire, before Chamberlain restarted play.
