Essendon's Kyle Langford had the perfect response to a cheeky Collingwood fan during Tuesday's Anzac Day match.
After winning a free kick close to the boundary line in his side's attacking 50, Langford went to retrieve the ball from over the fence from a Magpies-heavy crowd, with one Collingwood fan not looking to give the Bombers forward any advantage for his set-shot routine as the clock ticked down.
The fan held the ball out for Langford to grab before dropping it to the ground, showing little fondness for the Essendon player amid a fiery affair between the two Victorian clubs.
But what seemed like a small victory for the Magpies fan soon turned sour, with Langford going back and snapping his second goal of the first half.
To make matters worse for the fan, Langford immediately pointed him out in his celebrations as Essendon regained the lead over Collingwood.

Langford's rebuttal came after a tense opening term at the MCG, with players from both clubs needing to be separated shortly after the quarter-time siren.
The goal would add to prior majors for the Bombers through Sam Weideman, Sam Draper and Nic Martin, while Collingwood booted four goals in a row to take the lead before Langford's efforts.
