Former Bulldogs and Richmond coach Terry Wallace jumped on SEN on Thursday and shared his thoughts on how Adelaide, Carlton and West Coast will go this season.

In his calculations, Wallace factors in games he believes that team will definitely win or lose, along with the 50-50 affairs.

Following Plough's predictions, we've decided to add our own in predictions in below them.

Who do you think is closer to the mark?

Adelaide

Terry Wallace: 15 wins

“I had only four games that I just went, I don’t think they will win that particular game. I had 13 straight-out wins for them, which left five 50-50 games. I factored in Taylor Walker’s injury and I came up with 15 wins for Adelaide,” Wallace said.

Zero Hanger: 17 wins

We had Adelaide definitely winning 13 games this season. With the addition of Bryce Gibbs, and the plenty of young players putting their hands up to replace the departed Jake Lever, we can definitely see them winning 13 games.

With the news that Taylor Walker won't be playing a part in any preseason games, it is assured that he will be ready for round one. With no match practice under his belt, the skipper might struggle with the pace of the game which might see the Crows struggle with games against Essendon and Richmond in the first two games of the season.

We see them losing three games at least, with seven games that could be a 50/50 affair, with two of those games being the Showdown against the Power. If the Crows can win four of the seven 50/50 games, they could easily have a 15-17 win season.

Carlton

Terry Wallace: 5 wins

“I had 16 losses, I had two winning games and I had four games at 50-50. Sides notoriously win more than you think they will, so that’s six all up, if they win two and all of the 50-50’s. I don’t think that will be the case. Remember no Bryce Gibbs or Sam Docherty, and Kade Simpson is another year older. I really like their direction, but I think they will play very young,” Wallace said.

Zero Hanger: 7 wins

With the loss of Sam Docherty and the lack of midfield depth with the departure of Gibbs, Carlton's young kids are in for a long season.

We have them winning four games, like Terry Wallace suggests, however with 14 losses rather then the 16 Wallace predicted. With five 50/50 games, a young Carlton side can manage a 6-7 win for the year. It would be classified as a step forward for Brendon Bolton's side considering the loss of Docherty in particular.

West Coast

Terry Wallace: 11 wins

“I find the West Coast Eagles a very confusing team. I gave them eight victories, seven losses and seven 50-50 games, because I just don’t trust them. It is probably 10 or 11 wins, but I went with the 11 because of the home ground advantage. That won’t get them into the finals,” Wallace said.

Zero Hanger: 10 wins

West Coast is an intriguing side, as they're a team who wins a lot of their games at home,  and lose a lot of their games away from home, especially in Melbourne.

Taking into account this year that they will be playing in a new stadium, one that is very unfamiliar to them, we have them winning nine games and losing five, as they face the problem of travelling to Sydney twice and Adelaide twice.

With four games in Melbourne and one in Tasmania, West Coast is faced with seven 50/50 games that could go either way. If they can improve their away form and pinch two games in Melbourne, which is very much possible with games against Collingwood, Bulldogs, Hawthorn and Carlton and win their game in Tasmania against the Kangaroos, a 13-win season could potentially be awaiting the Eagles. Although we can't see that happening.
