West Coast is looking to bring in more established talent to their club, and has been reported to be meeting with delisted Adelaide midfielder Harry Schoenberg.

The Eagles have more flexibility following the AFL assistance package, which granted the Western Australian club Pick 19 (used to help lure Brandon Starcevich from Brisbane), as well as four additional rookie list spots.

Schoenberg was seen meeting with West Coast at Mineral Resources Park, according to the West Australian, in a bid to revive his AFL career.

The 24-year-old began his time at West Lakes following the 2019 National Draft, where the Crows took him with Pick 24 out of Marrabel in South Australia.

Schoenberg played 62 games across six seasons, including a career-best 22 matches in 2021.

Since that year, his senior opportunities have dwindled, and he was only seen five times in Matthew Nicks' side in the last 24 months.

Schoenberg was pushed out of the midfield due to the acquisition of James Peatling, Isaac Cumming and the prominence of Josh Rachele and Izak Rankine.

West Coast also met with dumped Collingwood midfielder Finlay Macrae after he was let go by the Pies after five seasons and 21 games.

The Eagles are also heavily linked to emerging duo Deven Robertson (Brisbane) and Tylar Young (Richmond), but have already landed Brandon Starcevich.

The club did farewell co-captain Oscar Allen, who ironically headed to the Lions, while Liam Ryan has a desire to join St Kilda.

The trade period will close on Wednesday, October 15.
