St Kilda have signed on two of their rookie-listed players for the next twelve months.

Darragh Joyce and Doulton Langlands have both inked new deals with the Saints after the pair were set to go out of contract at the end of 2018.

General Manager of Football Simon Lethlean said the duo have both earned their spots on St Kilda's list for next year.

“We’ve been really impressed by what we’ve seen from Darragh and Doulton,” Lethlean told the club's website.

“Darragh managed to make his debut in Round 15 against the Dees and did a really solid job against Jesse Hogan.

“His elite athleticism and one-on-one defence is really impressive, particularly when you put into context that he’s only been playing football for the past few years.

“Doulton has also made really great strides since being drafted at the end of last year.

“He’s an explosive two-way runner with the ability to burst out of stoppage.

“He’s proved himself as a handy wingman and forward at VFL level, and I’m sure he’ll be banging down the door for senior selection next year.”

Joyce was drafted to the club in 2017 as an international rookie, meanwhile Langlands made the move from Albury after being selected with pick No.8 in the Rookie Draft for 2018.
