The AFL has confirmed week three of the 2022 finals series, which will take place on September 16 and 17, including a Friday night match and a twilight game on the Saturday.

Geelong will host the winner of this week's semi-final between Melbourne and Brisbane at the MCG at 7:50pm (AEST) on Friday, September 16.

Meanwhile, the winner of Collingwood and Fremantle this Saturday will play seven days later at the SCG against the Swans at 4:45pm (AEST).

AFL EGM Clubs, Finance and Broadcasting Travis Auld expressed his excitement in the league's thrilling post-season continuing.

โ€œWeโ€™ve seen amazing contests throughout week one of the Finals Series, and I have no doubt the upcoming Semi and Preliminary Finals will be the same impressive standard of football.

All matches for week three of the AFL finals will be broadcasted live on Channel 7, Fox Footy and Kayo.
