Three rival clubs are reportedly showing some level of interest in unsigned Geelong youngster Ted Clohesy.
Clohesy remains without a deal for 2026, being one of several Cats left to wait through the trade period before confirming their playing future.
The local midfielder has played 12 games in three years at Kardinia Park, nine of which came in the recent season.
Six of those games were as the starting sub, with Clohesy spending most of his third season with the Cats in the VFL, where he averaged 27.8 disposals and 6.5 marks per game.
Clohesy's status as an off-contract ball winner who could have a role to play at AFL level is understood to have garnered the interest of other clubs.
According to afl.com.au, Gold Coast, Essendon and West Coast are all keeping tabs on the 21-year-old's situation at Geelong.
Clohesy's older brother, Sam, is listed with the Suns, who are undergoing mass change to their squad after bidding farewell to Sam Flanders, Malcolm Rosas and Ben Ainsworth in trades, adding to three delistings and two retirements earlier in the off-season.

West Coast have expressed an interest in adding to their engine room, having been tied to delisted onballers Harry Schoenberg and Finlay Macrae, among others, as they weigh up their options for 2026.
Having been handed four additional rookie list spots, the Eagles will have greater flexibility on the open market after the trade period concludes.
Essendon's interest comes as captain Zach Merrett potentially seeks a move to Hawthorn, while Will Setterfield and Ben Hobbs have been made to wait on new deals until after the trade period.
Delisted free agency will open between the trade period and draft window, while the Supplemental Selection Period commences shortly after the draft concludes.
