Here is the third edition (30-21) of our top 50 AFL players right now...
10. 21 - Luke Davies-Uniacke
Luke Davies-Uniacke's rise to becoming one of the AFL's premier midfielders has been a long time coming, especially given his tenure with a struggling North Melbourne side.
But in 2024, he truly broke out, showcasing a level of performance that is both intimidating and exciting. This was his first season playing every game, where he averaged a career-best 27.7 disposals and 6.3 clearances, culminating in him winning the Syd Barker Medal as the club's best and fairest.

At just 25 years old, Davies-Uniacke is now the most sought-after free agent heading into 2025, drawing interest from clubs willing to offer substantial seven-figure deals.
His combination of size, speed, and skill makes him a formidable presence both inside and outside the contest. He polled 18 Brownlow votes in 2024, a testament to his impact in a poor side, with even higher tallies surely on the horizon.
As North Melbourne aims to develop its promising young core - including talents like George Wardlaw, Harry Sheezel, and Colby McKercher - Davies-Uniacke faces a pivotal choice: stay and lead this exciting project or seek a move to a finals contender.
Either way, he is poised to become a consensus top-10 player in the near future.
