Essendon and Brad Scott has parted ways after a terrible start to 2026, with only one win from 11 starts.
The Bombers were largely uncompetitive, and despite injury concerns during the Dreamtime at the G clash against Richmond, the loss proved to great for Scott to remain in his job.

James Kelly
Building a strong CV at Geelong as an assistant coach.
But Kelly's links to Essendon are strong following his two seasons as a player in 2016 and 2017, featuring 40 times in the red and black.
He remained at the Bombers up until 2021 as part of the coaching staff, and has been with the Cats since.
