With so many big names coming out-of-contract at the end of the season, the Zero Hanger thought we would have some fun and fantasised about some blockbuster moves.

We've compiled a list of 10 massive moves that could happen by the end of the season - some slightly more outlandish than others. We're not saying ALL of these will happen, but believe they are all possibilities.

We haven't stopped at just players - with a couple of bombshell coaching moves also put forward.

Here is our list of 10 huge hypothetical end-of-season moves.

2. Zach Merrett to Carlton

Merrett was rumoured to be unhappy at Essendon at the end of last season, and given the quality of players that left, on-field success feels like some time away. His departure feels like one of the more realistic possibilities.

Merrett is set to become a restricted free agent and will be another name that continues to generate noise so long as he is unsigned. The Blues showed last trade period that they are now a destination club with an exciting rising list that could really appeal to Merrett if he opts to hit the market.

Even after the additions of Adam Saad and Zac Williams, reports were that Carlton still had some room in their cap. This move could be contingent on Cripps leaving and if he stays the Blues would need to shed some salary somehow.
