Sydney goal-kicker Charlie Curnow has joined football greats Jack Riewoldt, Matthew Lloyd, Jason Dunstall and Gary Ablett Snr with three Coleman Medals.
Curnow claimed the 2026 award with 69 goals in Swans colours, his first year in the Harbour City.
He all but locked away the medal with three majors against North Melbourne on Sunday, ensuring he had enough breathing room from the chasers.
This year's Coleman Medal adds to the medals he won with Carlton in 2022 and 2023 and places him in rare company alongside the aforementioned former stars of the competition.
The 29-year-old's biggest hauls for the season came in Round 12 against Richmond (eight) and both games against the Western Bulldogs (13 goals in two matches). He went goalless three times this year, and averaged 3.5 goals a game.
Curnow's win was the first time in Sydney colours since Lance Franklin in 2017.
Only eight players in VFL/AFL history have won more Coleman Medals than Curnow: Dick Lee (7), Gordon Coventry (6), John Coleman (5), Fred Fanning, Doug Wade, Peter Hudson, Tony Lockett and Franklin (all 4).
