Sydney will welcome back Errol Gulden and Tom McCartin for their mouthwatering Thursday night clash against Brisbane at the Gabba.
Gulden's return will be a nice piece of symmetry, given his last outing was in Round 1 against the Lions when he dislocated his shoulder.
"Errol will play," Swans coach Dean Cox said on SEN.
"He got through everything he's had to get through which is great. It's been a hard two-year period for him. The resilience of the young man, what he's gone through, but he's trained extremely hard. He's done everything he possibly can, which is really exciting.
"He won't have too many restrictions on him. He's been running for eight weeks, so he's done another pre-season. He'll be managed a little bit."
McCartin will fill a role in the backline after overcoming his latest concussion.
Cox confirmed the mature defender has responded well since his recent head knock, and is expected to face the Lions.
Veteran defender Dane Rampe will play in the VFL over the weekend after a long layoff due to injury.
Rampe last played in Round 9 against North Melbourne, and has been sidelined since due to a calf injury.
Livewire forward Tom Papley is still multiple weeks away from his calf strain.
Cox put on the agenda youngster Jevan Phillipou is nearing an AFL opportunity after impressive form in the reserves.
Phillipou, brother of St Kilda midfielder Mattaes, has kicked six goals in the past fortnight and 18 majors for the season, which has turned the heads of the Swans' selection committee.
