The "brains and the brawn". Welcome to the new era of Collingwood leadership.
After the events on the Gold Coast on Saturday, it is obvious Brayden Maynard and Nick Daicos should be joint captains of the Magpies.
Darcy Moore has so many issues with his body, he must be allowed to regenerate, focus on himself and hopefully launch into 2027 as a fresh defensive weapon.
That leaves room for a double team at the top.
Usually, I'm dubious about shared roles, but this one is too obvious to ignore.
Daicos must be rewarded as the superstar. Slick, smart and a natural on-field leader. With the (c) next to his name it also makes it much tougher for Tasmania to prise him out of the club.
Maynard, though, can not be denied. Insiders say he'd win the prize if it was a pure player votes and the fans love him.
What he did to lift the side with a dodgy shoulder on Saturday was extraordinary. This passion after the game was inspiring in an era of rather docile, friendly post-game interactions.
I loved his interview suggesting there was always going to be some physical payback for what Ben Long dished up.
At times you need some on-field mongrel to lift your teammates. It was straight out of the Luke Hodge playbook - and we all know how revered he was.
So there's your "brawn".
The "brains" was also on show in the final seconds, when Daicos was clever enough to milk a too-high free kick to ice the game.
His celebration the moment the whistle went summed up the little master. He was in total control of the situation, knew how long was left on the clock and managed the whole scenario perfectly.
Daicos-Maynard. It's the perfect mix.
