Norwood 6.15 (51) def. by Adelaide 13.10 (88)

A close first half saw five points separate the two sides but a four goal quarter from Adelaide, and inaccuracy in front of goal from Norwood, saw the Crows extend their lead before finishing with a 36-point victory.

Bryce Gibbs, who was again omitted from the senior side, responded with a 22 disposal and 10 clearance game. Sam Jacobs performed well in the ruck with 24 hitouts and 17 disposals.

Patrick Wilson continued his consistent form with another great display. The experienced rookie collected a team-high 27 disposals along with two goals. Elliott Himmelberg also added to the scoreboard, slotting three of his own from 16 disposals and six marks.

Adelaide hold on to their spot at the top of the ladder but will be challenged by Port Adelaide next round who are also coming off of a round 12 win.

Port Adelaide 14.15 (99) def. West Adelaide 3.4 (22)

Port Adelaide was quick out of the gates, scoring four goals in the opening term whilst holding West Adelaide scoreless. As the game continued, Port Adelaide continued to pile on the goals before ultimately defeating West Adelaide by 77 points.

Matthew Broadbent returned from a mental health break. The veteran defender made a successful return and finished with 25 disposals.

The ball was shared around with a number of players recording over 20 disposals. Sam Mayes led the way with 27 disposals and omitted trio Joel Garner (24 disposals), Willem Drew (23) and Kane Farrell (23) all found plenty of the ball, putting themselves back into the AFL selection contention.

Port Adelaide look to back up their win against West Adelaide with another against the top side. Port Adelaide will travel to face Adelaide in round 13.
