In the Geelong Cats’ 120 point thrashing of Gold Coast, Tom Hawkins stood tall as just about their best player.

Four goals, 24 touches, 11 marks and five tackles for the big man was good enough to have him as the most influential man on the ground as his team rises to second on the ladder.

He could have had far more goals as well had he been more selfish, but instead he had several goal assists to his name.
