The Police investigation into sexual assault claims against two Hawthorn players is reportedly still continuing.
Media reports last month suggested that the investigation was all but over with no charges expected to be laid. However, AFL.com.au has reported that the investigation is still ongoing.
"Detectives from the Box Hill Sex Offences and Child-Abuse Investigation Team are leading the investigation," the AFL.com.au article states.
"The two players were interviewed by police on October 20.
"It's understood police are also reviewing CCTV footage as part of their inquiry."
The alleged sexual assault took place in the early hours of Friday, October 9 at a house in Ashwood after the victim and the Hawthorn players met at a bar.
