David Armitage and Maverick Weller have been omitted from the St Kilda leadership group ahead of the 2018 season.
Dylan Roberton has been added to the group after a stellar 2017 season across half-back, and will be joined by captain Jarryn Geary, Seb Ross, Jack Steven and Jack Newnes, who all retained their positions.
Performance is clearly a significant factor in deciding the group's makeup, with all five members placing in the top 10 of the club's 2017 best and fairest award.
The group will hope to guide the Saints to their first finals appearance since 2011, after finishing 11th in 2017 and 9th in 2016.
Roberton's addition to the group comes on the back of a season where he catapulted himself into one of the premier rebounding defenders in the AFL, averaging 23.1 touches and 6.2 marks per game.
Armitage's omission has largely been a result of his injury battles over recent years, only gracing the field twice in season 2017.
The Saints' 2018 campaign kicks off against the Lions at Etihad stadium in round one.
