Winner: GWS Giants

Are Leon Cameron's men the real deal? With a smashing victory over last season's premiers, you would have to think so. GWS are playing some very good footy and they preyed on a Hawks side that was there for the taking after coming off three hard games in which they'll lucky to win.

The question is, are the Giants going to fade out like they did last year or will they cement their spot in the eight and create history? I guess we'll find out.

Loser: Richmond

The Tigers should have taken care of Port Adelaide, its as simple as that. Port were there for the taking, they have been poor all season so far and with Richmond playing them at the G, you would expect the Tigers to get up.

Well they didn't and now they are sitting at 1-5, wand look very unlikely to recover from here. It doesn't get any easier for Damien Hardwick's men as they face a Hawthorn side smarting from a huge loss against Giants this Friday night.

  1. What was wrong with the football on friday night? I thought it was a fantastic much. Low scoring does not necessarily mean low quality.
