Interchange

Luke Shuey (West Coast)

The Norm Smith medallist looked a class above on Saturday night, where his speed and class were on full display. He finished with 28 disposals, five clearances and two goals.

Clayton Oliver (Melbourne)

Oliver recorded a career high 44 disposals (25 contested) in the 80-point drubbing by the Cats. Oliver continued to toil at the coalface all night finishing with 14 clearances and six tackles.

Tim Kelly (Geelong)

Harmes had the task of stopping the young star fresh off a best on ground performance in round one but Kelly was unbothered by the tag and finished with 30 disposals (20 contested), 10 clearances, five tackles and a goal.

Michael Hurley (Essendon)

Hurley tried his best against the Saints in very trying circumstances. Hurley finished with 23 disposals, 14 marks (eight intercepts), nine rebound 50s and six one percenters. If Hurley did not play, the score line would have been much worse.
