Contracted Sydney defender Ollie Florent is reportedly in the sights of rival clubs, who have become intrigued by the 26-year-old's situation in New South Wales.
Florent is signed to the Swans until the end of 2029, having penned a five-year extension in May last year.
He has been a staple for Sydney 2018, playing at least 21 games in six of his past seven seasons at AFL level.
Florent was dropped after a long stretch of games in the red and white for Sydney's Round 12 clash against Sydney and is yet to return to Dean Cox's side.
He played the first 11 games of the current season, including a sub gig against Carlton in Round 10 - a performance that came less than a fortnight prior to his axing.
He has since debuted in the VFL, playing games against Casey and Richmond, averaging 25.0 disposals, four marks and 5.5 tackles per game across his pair of appearances.
The Victorian's current place on the fringes of senior selection has created a platform for rival clubs to enquire about Florent's future, according to SEN.
The Swans are unlikely to be open to parting with a player they recommitted to only 13 months ago, however last year's grand finalist is tipped to be eyeing an active off-season window.
Sydney could look to add ready-made talent to their list in the hope of returning to premiership contention, while they'll also need to keep their draft hand strong due to three top-rated Swans Academy prospects.
Max King, Noah Chamberlain and Lachie Carmichael are all potential first-round selections tied to the Swans, who could need to strengthen their draft points total.
Sydney currently hold Picks 6, 24, 42 and 60 for this year's AFL Draft, equating to 2482 points.
