Out-of-contract West Coast midfielder Andrew Gaff is no closer to re-signing with the club, as Victorian clubs continue circling the All-Australian, reports say.

The 25-year-old held off all contract talks over West Coast’s bye weekend and it is looking more likely he will move on from the club.

It’s believed that Victorian clubs Carlton, St Kilda and North Melbourne have offered significantly more for Gaff than the Eagles' proposal of approximately $3 million over four years.

Gaff is originally from Victoria and earlier in the year he said he was tempted to move back home to be with his family and friends, but sources are now saying he would prefer to stay in Perth.

The Eagles’ list management team have got some work to do over the next year.

They’ve got Gaff and Jeremy McGovern to lock away this year and Nic Naitanui and Josh Kennedy out of contract at the end of next season.
