Swans utility Zak Jones is being hunted by rival clubs when his deal expires at the end of 2019, according to reports.

The younger brother of Demons skipper Nathan, Zak is currently believed to to be on a deal around the $300,000 mark, but rival teams are offering something closer to $500,000-600,000.

Essendon, St Kilda, North Melbourne and Melbourne are the current suitors for his signature, as they were just 12 months ago.

The 23-year old has had an indifferent start to 2018, caused by an interrupted pre-season due to knee surgery and a calf strain in round two that held him out for a couple of weeks.

The Victorian says he is happy in the Harbour City and will let the contract situation play out in due course.

“I haven’t spoken about contracts,” Jones told the Daily Telegraph.

“I’m really happy in Sydney. I’m focused on now and I don’t want to look too far ahead. Everything passes pretty quickly so I’m just enjoying my time.”

Jones is averaging 20.8 disposals and 4.2 inside 50s per game in 2018.
