AFL journalist Sam McClure has reported that Giants Josh Kelly could be out for longer than a week with a groin injury.

Kelly has been left out of the Giants' lineup for this weekend's clash against Fremantle on Saturday afternoon and McClure says that it might not be the only game he misses.

“He has groin soreness, and I’m not positive, after speaking to people across the border, that it is just a one week injury,” McClure explained on SEN Breakfast.

Greater Western Sydney Giants had a number of ins and outs prior to their round four match up against Freo.

Midfielder Toby Green alongside Dawson Simpson and Ryan Griffen were inclusions while Kelly, ruckman Rory Lobb and Harry Perryman will be on the outside looking in on Saturday afternoon.
