Former Fremantle midfielder Josh Deluca has caught the eye of a number of clubs ahead of the May 27 mid-season draft.

According to AFL.com.au, Sydney and Port Adelaide have expressed their interest in the 23-year-old, who impressed for WA against SA last weekend.

The hard nut amassed 29 disposals and laid seven tackles to pick up the Simpson Medal in the contest, and will be hoping to get back onto an AFL list after struggling with the Dockers.

Deluca played just four games for Fremantle over four years, after being selected with pick 68 in the 2014 draft.
