The 2014 draft class is beginning to enter its prime, but many of the stars out of this draft weren't even in the top 10 picks.

It's a draft littered with misses and perhaps "what ifs", so we thought it was time to cast our eye over the 2014 national draft and select our top 10.

How many top 10 picks will retain their spot?

Original Top 10

10. Nakia Cockatoo

9. Darcy Moore

8. Peter Wright

7. Paul Ahern

6. Caleb Marchbank

5. Jordan De Goey

4. Jarrod Pickett

3. Angus Brayshaw

2. Christian Petracca

  1. Paddy McCartin

8. Brayden Maynard (Gold Coast)

Maynard had a breakout 2020 and looked a likely All-Australian selection but was snubbed for that honour. However, there was no taking away his standing as one of the game's best small defenders. He has a real grit and determination to beat his opponent, but he also has good foot skills and is able to hurt teams when going on the attack.
