Tuesday night is right around the corner for the 2026 Mid-Season AFL draft, with Essendon having the top pick.

Ahead of the draft, I take a look back at the 2025 Mid-Season draft and do a complete re-draft based on how the players are performing right now for their teams.

9Zac Banch (Pick 2)

Banch hasn't had many opportunities under Alastair Clarkson, as he has only played six games, including two this year.

When he is on the field, he has been quite noticeable as a pressure forward; his defensive work as a forward is his specialty, and it's what keeps him a close option for selection every week.
