Port Adelaide face some selection uncertainty ahead of Saturday afternoon's clash against Collingwood at the MCG as the club navigates injury concerns surrounding three key players Travis Boak, Brandon Zerk-Thatcher, and Ivan Soldo.

Boak is on the mend from a back injury sustained in Round 3, forcing him to miss last week's three-point win over Fremantle. The 35-year-old has resumed training this week, aiming to prove his fitness for the upcoming clash.

Key-back Zerk-Thatcher endured a shoulder sprain during Saturday night's win. Despite playing through the discomfort, he has faced limited contact in training this week but is showing positive signs of recovery ahead of the MCG visit.

Richmond ruck recruit Ivan Soldo reassured Port Adelaide fans of his availability despite a knock sustained in the thrilling win over Freo.

Key forward Ollie Lord remains on the injury list with final team announcement scheduled for Thursday evening.

The clash against the reigning premier shapes as a pivotal battle and the Power will be ager to reverse last year's MCG clash with Collingwood which saw them smashed by 71 points.

Soldo in particular will be anticipating the clash against his former coaches from Richmond, Craig McRae and Justin Leppitsch, who now lead Collingwood's coaching staff.

A win will take the Power to 5-1 and firmly entrenched in the top four.
