Port Adelaide are reportedly in hot pursuit of West Coast forward Junior Rioli, who is continuing to weigh up his future in WA.

Whilst ineligible for free agency, the out-of-contract premiership player is believed to be searching for the best deal possible ahead of the 2023 AFL season, according to 7 News Perth reporter Ryan Daniels.

Despite being offered a "significant" deal by the Eagles, the Power have reportedly given the 27-year-old an "aggressive offer" as a means of bolstering their struggling forward line.

Such an offer would also comprise of fewer conditions for Rioli to fulfil compared to that of the Eagles.

West Coast have allegedly been left disappointed with Rioli's choice to search around, particularly since they supported him throughout his two-year suspension for tampering with a drug urine sample.

In saying that, West Coast is still confident that the Tiwi Islands product will put pen to paper in the coming weeks.

To date, Rioli has played 51 games for the Eagles since joining the club as a mature-aged recruit in 2018.
