Port Adelaide forward-midfielder Joe Richards is set to miss the next month with a broken finger.
He has been listed as 3-4 weeks away so should at minimum return for the last game of the season against Essendon.
It's a shattering blow for Richards, who is coming off a best afield performance in a gallant Power effort against Fremantle.
With Zak Butters and Jason Horne-Francis missing, he got more midfield minutes and finished with a game-high 31 disposals, earning him seven coaches votes.
Across 40 games for the Power, he has become one of the club's most important players and typified the plucky spirit the club has consistently shown across 2026.

Horne-Francis returns from suspension this week, while Mitch Georgiades is expected to exit concussion protocols and also be available for selection.
Port Adelaide take on Brisbane at the Gabba on Sunday.
