New faces: The Power's active trade and free agency period landed Tom Rockliff, Steven Motlop and Jack Watts, who should all start in their best 22 and give solid contributions to the side.

Rockliff and Motlop will both have stints up forward and in the midfield, adding flexibility and quality to a club now firmly in their premiership window.

On the fringe: Port elected to use their off-season to recruit for the now, with mature-age signings Jack Trengove, Trent McKenzie and Lindsay Thomas all likely to feature at some point throughout the season.

Karl Amon, Jake Neade, Todd Marshall and Jimmy Toumpas also should see senior action at some point.
