Kangaroos big man Todd Goldstein has ignored the lure of free agency to sign a three-year contract extension at Arden Street.

Goldstein was set to be one of the most sought after unrestricted free agents at the of 2016 after a sublime 2015 season.

The re-signing was announced on North Melbourne's Twitter account.
