The Kangaroos have decided they will not trade pick two even with Essendon and Gold Coast showing plenty of interest in North's opening selection.

After finishing 17th in the 2020 season, the Roos landed pick two and will have plenty of options next week's draft after delisting 14 players.

Midfielder/forward Elijah Hollands seems to be a likely draft hopeful to end up at Arden Street, with his versatility being key for them as they look to bolster both their forward and midfield depths for next season.

North is reportedly keeping two open spaces on their list post-draft in order to pick up players in the pre-season and mid-season signings.

The Roos reportedly desired two top 10 picks or one top five and an early selection as reported by the Herald Sun.

Essendon were reportedly not interested in any two of picks six, seven and eight and will look to take all three selections into draft night on December 9th.

The Suns hold pick five but their next option isn't until 27, leading the Roos to decline trade offers from the Queensland club.

North Melbournes current picks stand at numbers 2, 11, 30, 39, 71, 81.
