North Melbourne father-son pick Cooper Harvey will make his debut against Geelong on Sunday afternoon.

Harvey was taken at Pick No.56 in the 2022 AFL Draft from the Northern Knights and plays across the midfield and up forward.

Harvey is the son of AFL/VFL all-time games record holder Brent Harvey, who played  432 games for North Melbourne. Harvey is a five-time Syd Barker medallist, four-time All-Australia, a premiership player and former captain, and now assumes a position as a development coach at North Melbourne.

Cooper Harvey's selection comes off an impressive run in the VFL, including a five-goal haul against Williamstown last weekend, where he earnt himself eight coaches' votes.
