North Melbourne will be without star midfielder Luke Davies-Uniacke for Saturday night's clash with Melbourne due to a heel injury.
The club confirmed on Friday morning that the explosive onballer had been withdrawn from their squad for the Round 7 encounter, adding to three changes made for the match on Thursday.
After being omitted for the match, recruit Darcy Tucker will fill the void left by Davies-Uniacke as first-year utility Blake Drury is named as an emergency.
The changes come after co-captain Jy Simpkin, veteran midfielder Liam Shiels and forward-ruck option Callum Coleman-Jones were all named as inclusions to take on the Demons.
With Davies-Uniacke replacing Tucker among the omissions, the midfielder joins Daniel Howe and Will Phillips in being removed from the side that faced Gold Coast last Sunday.
Both Howe and Phillips joins Drury and Hugh Greenwood as the listed emergencies for Saturday night's match, one of which will be named as the tactical sub.
Final teams for the match will be confirmed one hour before the 7:25pm (AEST) bounce on Saturday night.
