North Melbourne defender Aaron Hall is in the process of finalising a new deal with the Roos, according to SEN's Sam Edmund.

Hall crossed from the Gold Coast at the end of 2018 and struggled to cement his position in North's best side throughout the 2019 and 2020 seasons.

Hall took time away from the club in 2019 to focus on his mental well-being and seemed to be on the chopping block at the end of the 2020 season as North began their rebuild.

Since the beginning of David Noble's reign, Hall has found his home on the half-back line in 2021 and has hit a patch of career-best form.
