Former Sun Elijah Hollands is set to debut for Carlton this weekend when the Blues take on North Melbourne in the Good Friday SuperClash.

Hollands will play alongside his brother Ollie when he debuts, becoming the 21st sibling pair in Carlton history to play alongside each other in the same game.

This week was the first time Hollands was available for selection after he copped a two-match ban late last year for breaching the AFL's Illicit Drugs Policy.

The young midfielder landed at Ikon Park last year on the final day of the 2023 Trade Period after 14 games for the Gold Coast Suns.

The Murray Bushrangers product was originally selected as pick No.7  in the 2020 Draft by the Suns.

Hollands arrives at the Blues after an exceptional performance in the VFL Grand Final for the Suns, with 33 disposals, 10 tackles and eight clearances in a premiership win.

In his first pre-season with the Blues, the hybrid threat impressed coaches, predominantly plying his trade in a forward-mid role.

He will get his chance tomorrow night to wear his new team colours and try to cement his place in the Blues side regularly.

Carlton takes on North Melbourne on Friday, March 29 for the Good Friday Clash at Marvel Stadium.
