Nathan Broad has been sent straight to the tribunal on a charge of rough conduct by the MRO for his tackle on Adelaide's Patrick Parnell during Saturday afternoon's win.

The MRO graded the third term incident as Careless Conduct, Severe Impact, High Conduct, with Broad to miss at least three games.

Young Crow Parnell suffered a concussion and was substituted from the game in the aftermath, now set to miss the Showdown in Round 3 as he completes the mandatory concussion period.

Broad meanwhile is set to at least miss matches against Collingwood, the Western Bulldogs, and Sydney.

The MRO also charged Port Adelaide's Ryan Burton with Rough conduct, grading the incident with Collingwood's Jamie Elliott as Careless Conduct, High Impact, High Contact.

Burton can accept a two-match suspension, ruling him out of the Showdown and Round 4's clash against Sydney.

Jy Simpkin has also been handed a suspension, charged with Striking Fremantle's Caleb Serong. The second term incident was graded as Intentional Conduct, Low Impact, High Contact. The Roo has been handed a one-match sanction, set to miss North Melbourne's clash against Hawthorn.

The MRO findings for the rest of the weekend's action will be released on Monday evening.
