Essendon is at risk of another big fine from the AFL after Sam Durham was charged for making careless contact with an umpire.
The Bombers last week were fined $20,000 for their fifth such offence, with Gold Coast, Western Bulldogs and Fremantle also fined the same amount for their fifth offence.
But the Bombers are the first club to incur a sixth offence, with any fine at the AFL's discretion and the money coming outside the soft cap.
Sam Durham was the player at fault, making contact with the umpire in the second quarter.
The Bombers could opt to challenge the outcome at the tribunal via written submission, as they unsuccessfully did with the Angus Clarke incident.
Hawthorn's Cam MacKenzie was also sanctioned for careless contact with an umpire in the same game.
It is the Hawks' third such offence this season.
Sydney's Tom Papley and GWS' Jake Stringer were both fined $1500 for instigating a melee and each can accept a $1000 fine with an early plea.
