St Kilda star Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera played one of the games of the season in St Kilda's victory over North Melbourne on Sunday afternoon.
Wanganeen-Milera finished with a whopping 46 disposals and four goals, just one day before the anniversary of his famous performance against Melbourne last year where he kicked a goal after the siren and put the superman cape on in the last quarter.
He proved to be the difference between the two teams, opening the game up with his speed and dynamic ball-use and finishing with a mind-boggling 1060 metres gained.
Importantly, it was a crucial step forward towards him playing with a tag, with the South Australian criticised at times earlier this year for his inability to influence a game when a team gives him attention.
But North Melbourne's Finn O'Sullivan spent plenty of time negating Wanganeen0Milera and he was able to stretch the youngster who has stopped some of the competition's best and stretch him with his work rate, pace and as a deep, isolated matchup.
He is catching fire at the right time, with St Kilda having Sydney, Carlton, Richmond and Gold Coast on the run home and likely needing to win three to absolutely guarantee Wildcard Round action.
