Fresh from shaving off his famous beard, Melbourne ruckman, Max Gawn, is auctioning off the people’s beard for charity.

The beard is up for auction on eBay with all proceeds set to go towards children’s charity, the Reach Foundation.

“Melbourne Football Club player Max Gawn has removed his famous beard to raise funds for the Reach Foundation, the official charity of the Melbourne Football Club,” the listing reads.

“The beard comes in a bag personally signed by Max and presented in a beautiful presentation box.

“The one-of-a-kind item will become a treasured collector’s item for any AFL or Demons fan.”
