Matthew Lloyd has revealed the top seven players he'd want for a big final on Sportsday Radio with Gerard Healy and Dwayne Russell this week.

Coming in at number seven was Collingwood's Scott Pendlebury, who is set to play game number 300 this weekend.

"You want him in a big finals game," Lloyd said.

Following 'Pendles' at number six was Brisbane small forward Charlie Cameron.

"A big elevation for Charlie into the top seven."

At number five, Lloyd selected Bulldogs superstar Marcus Bontempelli.

"Just love his form at the moment."

Edging 'The Bont' in 'Llordo's' count at number four was Richmond full-back Dylan Grimes.

"Didn't want it to be all midfielders. He's an any-occasion player...Put him on anybody in the comp and he'll put them to sleep."

At number three was Geelong's Patrick Dangerfield.

"The form he is in is just magnificent- he needs a premiership to cap off his career."

In at 2 was Dustin Martin.

And finally, the number one big-game player for this year's finals series according to Matthew Lloyd was Collingwood's gun ruckman Brodie Grundy

"If they are to win the premiership, Brodie needs to dominate."
