Essendon champion Matthew Lloyd has revealed his top five after-the-siren goals.

Speaking on AFL.com.auLloyd explained that every kid growing up dreams of kicking a big goal after the final siren has sounded.

"Unfortunately for me, I had a shot against the Western Bulldogs on a big Friday night and I fluffed it," he said.

"These five shots were ones I'll never forget where blokes absolutely nailed it after the siren."

Lloyd counted down from 5-1…

4. Luke Shuey vs. Port Adelaide (Elimination Final, 2017)

Lloyd said: "When you're actually playing for your season it adds extra pressure to a kick, and that's what Luke Shuey was doing in this situation. Extra time, heavy legs, hostile crowd, in Adelaide - the toughest crowd to play against to be honest because they're pretty loud. Just to sink Port Adelaide and end their season and continue on the fairytale for West Coast, that was a huge kick from Luke Shuey."
